Someone who attempts or performs Electrical work that should not. This is not a qualified person. Even though the may have been authorized. Some times even a "qualified person" can be a faketrician if they have not been trained or been trained badly.

Ex.

"Logan did you hear about that new factory that burned down?" "Yeah they had some faketricians in there trying to do Electrical work"
